The Riad Rooms

Reservar

Each room — Sultana, Azahar, Lavanda, Alhelí, and Jazmín — has its own identity. All are spacious, glamorous, elegant, relaxing, and welcoming, designed to make our guests feel like sultans for a day.

They are decorated with Arab lamps, oriental rugs, slate and marble bathrooms, canopy beds, lanterns, candle holders, and designer poufs. A renewed classic style — special and different.

We’ll welcome you with the warmest smile and hospitality, so that you don’t feel at home, but rather transported to another place.

Practical Information about Toledo

When you arrive at Riad Medina Mudéjar, you’ll find information about the city on your room desk. During reception hours, we’ll be fully available to guide and assist you.

Toledo has implemented certain measures to protect its historic beauty, including restrictions on private vehicle access to the old town.

Only residents are allowed access and parking permits. Non-residents may enter between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. Outside these hours, access is blocked by bollards.

The closest parking lots to Riad Medina Mudéjar are Recaredo Parking, located on Paseo de Recaredo, and Santo Tomé Parking, located on Calle Santa Úrsula. Both are open 24 hours. The Recaredo lot is located by the city wall and connects to the old town via escalators. From the top of the escalators to Medina Mudéjar it’s about 250 meters. From Santo Tomé Parking, it’s approximately 350 meters.

If you arrive by car, please be aware that the streets are narrow and require careful driving. If you prefer a more comfortable arrival, taxis from any city parking lot should cost around €6 — including from the AVE station, bus station, or outlying parking areas.

The city also has several free parking lots outside the historic center: Circo Romano, Safón, and the external parking at the AVE station. These provide quick access to the old town. If you choose to park outside the city walls, please note that:

Green zones are reserved for residents only (no payment option available), blue zones have a maximum parking limit of two hours, orange zones are paid but have no time limit — around €6 for a full day.

Toledo’s streets are built in a traditional mix of stone and mortar, so comfortable, sturdy footwear is essential. For long walks, high heels are strongly discouraged.
